 Al-Imam Council Endorses “Determination to Crush Terror”

​Council of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has endorsed, during the third regular session hold this Monday, the execution of 47 terrorists according to the judgements that issued by the competent Saudi criminal court. In furtherance, the council stated that, they are in line with Islamic teachings against terrorists found guilty of murder and sabotage.

In a similar vein, the council of Al-Imam University has vows the wised leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Crown H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. 

The third regular session of the council, which was chair by Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has attended by almost all the vice-rectors and deans of the university, in addition to Dr. Muhammad Al-Saleh, Representative of Saudi Minister of Education. Additionally, members of the council have congratulated Dr. Ahmad Al-Issa, Saudi Minister of Education, on the royal trust and his appointment as Minister of Education.

On the council meeting’s agenda, the council has approved the re-enrolment of postgraduate student, re-formalizing of the Editorial Board of Educational Sciences Magazine for the next two years 1436-1437 H and 1437-1438 H. As well, five faculty staff members were grant a sabbatical leave, and two faculty staff members were grant a sabbatical leave to study a foreign language, and suspending a sabbatical leave of two others to study a foreign language. 

Concerning the organising affairs, Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Waziani has nominated for the membership of the council of Higher Studies Deanship representing the Supreme Jurisdiction Institute, and Dr. Muhammad bin Sheikh has nominated for the membership of the council Arabic-Islamic Institute at Indonesia. Dr. Suliman Al-Habs has nominated for the academic council representing Supreme Dawa Institute, and Dr. Abdul-Karim Al-Ismail has re-nominated for the academic council representing College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at El-Ahsa. Moreover, the council of female study centre and council of King Abdullah Institute for Translation and Arabization had re-formalized.

In a similar vein, the council has approved the academic study plan of Master Program of Fiqh and Its Origins at Arabic-Islamic Institute at Indonesia, and two faculty members were re-located to work at Arabic-Islamic Institute at Indonesia. The council has, additionally, reviewed and discussed carefully the notes of Saudi General Auditing Bureau concerning the financial year 1436-1437 H of the university.

Lastly, the council has seconding Dr. Hamid Muhammad Ali to work at Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions, and has deputing a number of faculty members to work outside the university, and relocating Dr. Assam Bukhari to work at King Abdulaziz University. Moreover, the council has approved requests of two faculty members to early retirement and accepted three resignations of faculty staff members.
