Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has received recently a copy of the report of the first period of “Intellectual Awareness Unit” from Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mayman, Vice-Rector for Sharia Institutes Affairs.
Commending the outreach efforts exerted, Dr. Al-Fawzan has praised the deliverables of the unit in promoting and enhancing the mission and vision of the university. He called for more focused efforts to realize the aspirations of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, and Deputy Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
On the targets of “Intellectual Awareness Unit”, Dr. Al-Fawzan has pointed out that, it considers as one of the communal and educational contributions of Al-Imam University in combating the deviated and extremism thoughts, along with its noxious outputs, which targeting youths. “That’s why Al-Imam University has well-prepared, throughout its administrations and educational programs, to aware communally its community and students since along time”, added he.
From his side, Dr. Al-Mayman has clarified the works done during the last period, which include the formalization of the unit, its committees and its consultative council, as well as executing a number of enriched events and programs.
