 Two Hundred Exam Centres for Distance Education Students; Acting Rector

​On the afternoon of the last Monday, Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has inspected accompanied with Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Amer, Dean of eLearning and Distance Education Deanship, the exam centre of distance education exams at Sharia institute of Al-Diriyah governorate.

Commending the progress he noticed there, Dr. Al-Fawzan has clarified that, distance education of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University is considers a pioneer in its kind, especially it serves a huge number of students all around the kingdom. 

In significance with the exam centres, Dr. Al-Fawzan has stated that, there are currently more than 200 exam centres all around the kingdom, in addition to four well-handled centres at the prisons of the kingdom, a step that aiming to help to the prisoners to complete their undergraduate studies.

From his side, Dr. Al-Amer has pointed out that, his administration is seeking eagerly to pave the ways for students to join the program of distance education in all its levels and majors. He, additionally, said that, there are seven available academic majors including Economy, Business Administration, Arabic Language, Sharia, Fundamentals of Religion, Regulations (Law), and Accountancy, in addition to English Language at the beginning of the next academic year. 

Dr. Al-Amer has pointed out that, a Memorandum of Understanding Agreement has signed with General Directorate of Prisons on the last weeks to expand the exam centres in all areas of the kingdom.
