 Al-Imam Pioneering in Signing Programmatic Accreditation Contracts

Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has inked lastly contracts of the programmatic accreditation project of some of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the university with the National Centre for Academic Accreditation and Assessment "NCAAA" of the Education Evaluation Commission. 

In coincidence with the signature ceremony arranged at the university, H.E. the University Rector, in attendance of Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al-Jebaili, CEO of NCAAA, has noted to the keenness of his administration to develop its programs to let its deliverables in consistence convenient with the Saudi development requirements. Additionally, to realize the requirements of the Saudi labour marketplace and the Saudi Vision 2030, added he.

In a similar vein, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has revealed that, the university has adopted since many years ago numerous plans and programs to improve its educational and academical deliverables throughout adopting the quality system and procedure, and implementing a fabulous strategic plan and building academic syllabuses.

In turn, Dr. Al-Jebaili has acknowledged the step taken by the university to accrediting its wide-range academic programs.

From other side, Dr. Abdullah Al-Asmari, Dean of Quality and Assessment Deanship, has clarified that, the inked contracts include the implementation of the assessment process in accordance with the standards and specifications of NCAAA. Both of the programmatic and institutional assessment has become an imperative that any institution has to engage in it and achieve its deliverables in order to leverage its performance levels, whether in the administrative or educational, academic and research areas, added he.

"The inking contracts include three contracts between the university and NCAAA in respect of postgraduate programs of the Supreme Jurisdiction Institute, and postgraduate program at Institute of Teaching Arabic Language, and two undergraduate programs at College of Social Sciences", concluded Dr. Al-Asmari.

It is noteworthy that, a number of the university vice-rectors and deans of the supporting deanships and of the colleges were attended the signature ceremony.
