Under kind patronage of H.R.H. Prince Faisal bin Khaled bin Abdulaziz, Amir of Asir Region, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, and Head of Summer Clubs’ Higher Committee, the activities of the Summer Clubs at Asir region have been closed at Hotel of Aba Palace.
Speaking to the audience, H.E. the university Rector has acknowledged the due care and support of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Premiere, to the university and its programs and projects. He, additionally, expressed about his happiness for the kind patronage of H.R.H. Prince Faisal to the successful session of the summer clubs this year. He, in further, has attributed each and every reached success to the good planning and creative plans, as well as the continuous hard work of all related units of the university.
Continued his words, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has said that, whom contemplating the results achieved and the realized goals by us through the summer clubs in the Sharia institutes of the university will see that, all these deliverables are the result of sound planning, creative plans and work continues the night by day. That's why such work of such approach and is no doubt has great effects on the ground benefiting by each and every participant and enrolled student in these clubs, added he.
“It’s a great responsibility on all of us to preserve the gains and destinies and sanctuaries that Allah Almighty has bestowed to us, and Al-Imam University has put into consideration this and arranged the programs and activities of the summer clubs”, pointed out Dr. Aba Al-Khail.
From other side, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mayman, Vice-Rector for Sharia Institutes Affairs, and Vice-President of Higher Committee of Summer Clubs, has pointed out that, Al-Imam University Summer Clubs are a good example to, effectively, maintain our students’ time and drive goodness to their religion, themselves and community.
On the main objectives of the summer clubs, Dr. Al-Mayman stated that, they, basically, targets junior female and male students. They have actively helped them to improve their worldly and hereinafter affairs; implant patriotism into minds of students and staff members. “Most of the programs planned and executed at the summer clubs intended to help students to not wasting their times and instead to involve at the activities that relating to their studies requirements. They aimed to provide educational and recreational packages as well as cultural ones to all participant students”, concluded he.
It is worth mentioning that, the closing ceremony included a variety of events, poems and creative national musical opera, and it was involved visual display shortening summer clubs events in the region.
