 Vice-Rector of Planning and Quality Visits Faculty of Medicine

​With a goal to explore the special programs and workflows of assessment and quality, as well as to identify the preparedness for acquiring the institutional accreditation, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheddi, Vice-Rector of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Planning, Development and Quality, has paid an inspection visit recently to Faculty of Medicine.

While arriving at the venue, Dr. Al-Sheddi has welcomed by Prof. Dr. Tareq Al-Asbili, Dean of Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Khaled Al Abdul-Ghaffar, Professor of Family Medicine and Medical Education, and Head of Ather Association, and many dignitaries of the faculty.

In statements in significance with the visit, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheddi has pointed out that; the visit has come in coincidence with the instructions of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al-Ameri, Rector of ​Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, to get close with the different wide-range units of the university. “Additionally, to keep pace with the accomplished steps and works in regard with quality and academic accreditation, and to what extent those units are facing difficulties and challenges”, added Dr. Al-Sheddi.

Concluding his words, Dr. Al-Sheddi has called all units of the university to continuously cooperate and positively engage towards achieving the global leadership at the world academic rankings. At the end of the visit, Dr. Al-Sheddi has toured inside the premises of the Faculty including labs, library, academic halls, and administrations.

It is worth to mention that, Dr. Ayyed Al-Shahrani, Assistant to Vice-Rector for Quality and Academic Accreditation, has accompanied Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheddi during the visit.
