​On the last days, Council of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has convened for the fourth regular meeting of the university year 1441 under the presidency of  H.E. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al-Ameri, Rector of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and in the presence of Dr. Mohammad Al-Saleh, Secretary-General of Higher Education Council, and members of the Council.

Inaugurating the meeting, H.E. the University Rector has passed his congratulation to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and to H.R.H. Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Minister of Defense, for the issuance of the Financial Budget of 2020. Dr. Al-Ameri, in furtherance, noted to the attention and support been paid by Saudi Government, especially a large percentage of this budget was allocating to ​Imam University, to education sector in general, which reflects the interest of the state in this public sector.

In coincidence with the agendas of the meeting, Dr. Mohammad Al-Saleh, Secretary-General of Higher Education Council, pointed out that, the members of the council approved of scholarship of a number of postgraduate students at oversea universities. They also approved the appointment of many assistant professors, approved a sabbatical leave for academic research and sabbatical to study a foreign research language. Additionally, members of the council agreed to assignment and renewal of a delegation and secondment of a number of faculty members to work in some universities and other government agencies, as well as approving to relocate a number of faculty members to work in some universities and other government agencies. Finally, the council approved to proceed with contracts of non-Saudi faculty members staff.

On the other side, Council of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has approved the reshuffling of Council of Deanship of eLearning and Distance Education, approving the re-structure and development of Supreme Jurisdiction Institute, approving the modification of some executive terms of Study and Exams Regulation. Finally, the council has approved the modification of some articles of Student Discipline Regulation, and highlighting the annual report of university for the academic year 1439/1440.
