Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Saghyer, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Community Service and Information Technology, has received recently welcomed Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Ahmad, Chairman of Naqel Express.
In the sidelines of the meeting, Dr. Al-Saghyer with has discussed with the guests the ways to cement the cooperation ties with regard to training, employment and Saudization solutions, especially the transport and logistic services sector is considered one of the strategic economics sectors in all countries as it a major priority in Saudi Vision 2030.
Clarifying the topic more precisely, Dr. Al-Saghyer has said that the Saudi transport and logistic services sector will contribute to supporting the national economy by an expected rate of 12% in 2018 according to economic estimates, benefiting from the economic reform, new vision, infrastructure and strategic projects led by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
On the target of the meeting, Dr. Al-Saghyer has pointed out that, Al-Imam University targeting to utilize its community potentials and linking it to the labour market by enabling students to gain practical experience and provide financial income to them to build their future through engaging in the proposed project between the university and NACEL. He added that, Naqel Express is a strategic joint venture between government and private sector on providing Logistics supply chain solutions.
