In coincidence with the university efforts to share success with the community, numbers of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University Vice-Rectors were inspected recently the exhibition organized by King Abdulaziz Project for Transport in Riyadh in tandem with the High Commission for the Development of Arriyadh.
The exhibition, which took place at the main hall of Prince Sultan Library for Science and Knowledge at the university premises, aims to highlight the importance of the project and its numerous benefits to the city life that include fulfilling the demands of growing population, reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.
On the high-level visit, Dr. Ahmad As-Salem, Al-Imam University Vice-Rector for Female Students' Affairs, stated that, the project will definitely help reduce the traffic jams in Riyadh city as the number of buses serving the female students is nearly 500 bus. On the other hand, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mayman, Al-Imam University Vice-Rector for Sharia Institutes Affairs, said that, the project when completed will assist a wide-range of the community segments especially school students and university students.
The high-level delegation included Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Alam, Al-Imam University Vice-Rector for Knowledge Exchange and International Communication, and Dr. Ahmad As-Salem, Al-Imam University Vice-Rector for Female Students' Affairs, and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mayman, Al-Imam University Vice-Rector for Sharia Institutes Affairs, and Dr. Fawzan Al-Fawzan, Al-Imam University Vice-Rector for Community Service and Information Technology, and many deans of the university colleges.
It's worth mentioning that, the portable exhibition of contains a 25 meters electronic screen displaying an introductory film about the project and an enlarged map of the metro lanes, beside a number of the photos and publications about the project's information and consortium companies executing the project.
