 Rector Sponsors Parallel Education Symposium

On the last Wednesday morning, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has sponsored panel discussion entitled "Parallel Education at Al-Imam University: Reality and Ways to Develop" at Sheikh Abdulaziz At-Twajiri Hall.

In statements in significance with the discussion panel, H.E. the University Rector clarified that there no difference between conventional education and parallel education expect the name and time of study. "Al-Imam University considers one of the biggest higher education institutions in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and as such it often responses to the frequently demands by students to enlarge its academic disciplines and increase numbers of enrolled students", stated H.E. the University Rector. In furtherance with his words, H.E. the University Rector called on all faculty staff members to not tolerance with any kind of education taught by the university.

From his side, Prof. Dr. Fahd Al-Asker, Vice-Rector for Higher Studies and Scientific Research and whose doubles as Chairman of Parallel Education Committee, pointed out that, the discussion panel contained of two separated sessions, the first entitled "Parallel Education … Basics and Experiences" and the second one entitled "Reality of Parallel Education at Al-Imam University and Ways to Developing it from Point-of-View of Scientific Departments".
