On the evening of the next Tuesday, Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University will host at its premises the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of the International Islamic University in Islamabad, Islamic Republic of Pakistan (IIUI).
The meeting, which would be hold for the first time outside Pakistan, will be chair by H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and who doubles as Pro-Chancellor of IIUI, in the presence of almost all IIUI Board of Trustees' members.
In statements on the occasion of the meeting, H.E. the university rector has praised the due care and continuous support of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to all Islamic and academic higher institutions in general and International Islamic University in Islamabad in particular. "IIUI represents the ideal model of cooperation between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Islamic Republic of Pakistan", said H.E. the university rector.
In similar vein, the permanent celebration committee of Imam Islamic University has convened this Wednesday morning chairing by Prof. Dr. Khaled bin Abdul-Gaffar Al Abdul-Rahman, Vice-Rector for Planning, Development and Quality, and had discussed in-depth the required arrangements of the meeting.
It's worthy to mention that, the meeting will take place after the royal approval of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud based on the proposal of H.E. Mr. Mamnoon Hussain, President, Islamic Republic of Pakistan & Chancellor, International Islamic University, Islamabad, to organize the meeting at Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
