Conference of cyberterrorism comes in line with the efforts of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in general, and King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in particular, to combat terrorism and unwrap its dangerous and how fighting, says H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and who doubles as a Chairman of Higher Committee of the conference, in statements while chairing the first meeting of the committee.
On the objectives of the conference, H.E. the university rector has stated that, it aims to “identify websites of the cyberterrorism and block them; and to exchange information and modernize experiences between interested persons and researchers to reach to ideal electronic works; and to reassess the prevention and combating methods, and keep pace with the electronic developments and changes; and lastly to evaluate and strengthen roles of families and education and mosques in baring cyberterrorism”.
From his side, Dr. Abdul-Mohsen Al-Sumaih, Deans of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Centre for Contemporary Islamic Studies and Dialogue of Civilizations, and who doubles as Vice-President of Conference Higher Committee, has praised the efforts of H.E. the university rector to bring success to all the conference agendas. He pointed out that, all preparations are going well, and many researchers and interested persons, from nearly 13 countries, have been invited to take part of the conference works and enrich it.
