Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has inked lastly two strategic agreements with Saudi Telecom Company “STC” – Business Sector. The first inked agreement on the providing on smartphones and the internet packages for students of the university, and the other agreement on the cooperation between the university Investments and Self-Resources Fund an STC.
H.E. Sheikh Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has signed the two agreements in the presence of Dr. Khaled Hussain Biyari, STC Group CEO.
The two sealed agreements are come in consistent with the Saudi Vision 2030 and to avail the university package of STC, which will help largely in developing the education tools and cognitive communication. The scope of the sealed agreements are extending to provide the university students with the internet services, through the STC university internet packages, and to acquire smartphones, through the university student fund.
The second sealed agreement will strengthen the cooperative and collaborative ties between the university and STC, especially in the field of consultations and studies that relating to the solutions and technological applications.
It is worth to mention that, the two-inked agreements with STC are came in the sidelines of the university’s keenness to integrate and cooperate with the Saudi serviceable institutions and sectors. It also came along with the exerting efforts of the university to expand its infrastructure in all areas and academic disciplines.
