Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Prof. Ahmed S Alaameri, the College of Arabic Language (Female Campus) organized a series of events today, Sunday, December 21, 2025, in celebration of World Arabic Language Day. The events were attended by female faculty members and students of the college, as part of an integrated celebratory program that reflects a strong commitment to highlighting the status of the Arabic language, strengthening its scientific and cultural presence, and reinforcing pride in it as the language of identity and civilization.
The events were held under the supervision and follow-up of the Vice Dean of the College of Arabic Language for Female Students, Dr. Qaddas K. Al-Khudairi, and implemented by the college's Activities Unit, represented by the Ghadaq Club. They were held under the title: “Innovative Horizons for the Arabic Language: Policies and Practices Shaping a More Inclusive Linguistic Future," in support of purposeful student activities and in fostering students' creative and cognitive skills.
The program included a theatrical performance presented by female students of the College of Arabic Language, staged in the Grand Hall, addressing themes that reflect the presence of the Arabic language across various fields and highlight its role in shaping thought and identity, within a creative framework that blends cultural discourse with artistic performance.
A concurrent exhibition was also held in the Panorama area, featuring several cultural and knowledge-based booths that shed light on the aesthetics of the Arabic language, its status in the Holy Qur'an and literary texts, and its contributions to education, media, and legal fields. The exhibition also highlighted its connection to artificial intelligence, language computing, the knowledge industry, modern terminology, and the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving and promoting the Arabic language.
These events aim to enhance awareness of the importance of the Arabic language, strengthen linguistic belonging among female students, support cultural initiatives that contribute to the dissemination of Arabic and pride in it, and highlight the role of the College of Arabic Language in serving the language academically and culturally.
The organization of these events affirms Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University's mission to support the Arabic language and consolidate its status as a language of knowledge and civilization, and a source of pride and honor.
