Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) concluded a series of educational and awareness sessions focused on test anxiety, as part of its efforts to support students' mental health during the examination period.
The sessions were organized by the University, represented by the Standing Committee for the Promotion of Mental Health, and were delivered remotely to male and female students. The program commenced on Sunday, December 14, 2025, and continued until the end of the working day on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, coinciding with the approach of the final examinations of the first academic semester.
The initiative was implemented in collaboration with the College of Social Sciences, the College of Medicine, the Deanship of Student Affairs, and the Deanship of Information Technology and E-Learning. It aimed to equip students with the psychological and cognitive skills necessary to address test anxiety and maintain mental balance during this critical stage.
A group of faculty members and specialists participated in the sessions, which covered a range of topics, including evidence-based psychological approaches to understanding test anxiety, mental readiness for examinations, strategies for managing exam-related stress, and a dedicated session on the use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance academic comprehension and study effectiveness.
This initiative reflects IMSIU's ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment, enhancing the quality of university life, and promoting academic success among its students.
