Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Mahmoud, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Educational Affairs, has received at his office a delegation from General Directorate of Scholarships - Ministry of Higher Education, Sultanate of Oman. Welcoming the guests, Dr. Al-Mahmoud was kept them abreast about the university role in disseminating Islamic and Arabic sciences through its various sharia and Arabic colleges and institutes.
He noted that, the visit of the Omani delegation is a great opportunity to cooperate and cement the mutual academic relations between Al-Imam University and General Directorate of Scholarships at Sultanate of Oman. He further stated that, Al-Imam University has always been receiving due care form King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Muqren bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Crown H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz.
From their side, the Omani delegation, which heading by Mr. Salem Al-Rashdi, Plenipotentiary Minister of Omani Embassy to Saudi Arabia, has thanked Dr. Al-Mahmoud for his cordial and warmth welcome and hospitality. He, likewise, considered Al-Imam University as the key pillar for joint action between both parties. The Omani delegation was included Mr. Ahmad Al-Azary, Director of External Scholarships, and Mr. Hamad Al-Harthy, Director of Seeking-Services Administration, and Mr. Taleb Al-Makhzoumi, In-Charge officer of Scholarship Students at Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC).
