On the last Sunday evening, H.R.H. Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman Al-Saud, Advisor to King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Chairman of National Calling Committee in Africa, has inaugurated at the university campus the opening session of the 23rd gathering of African calling committee under the motto of “Dialogue”. The gathering has convened in the presence of His Eminence Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan, Member of the Saudi Committee of Fatwa giving, and H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, beside a number of the host dignitaries and university officials.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Aba Al-Khail highly lauded the continued efforts paid by King Abdullah Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz and H.R.H. Prince Muqren bin Abdulaziz , Deputy Crown Prince, to render a success and support to Islam and Muslims around the world. He, likewise, thanked H.R.H. Prince Bandar for his extraordinary achievements in respect of providing aid and support to the African calling committee.
In his word before the gathering, H.E. Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan praised Prince Bandar for his due care to all affairs of the committee that exerting during the last 15 years. Member of the Saudi Committee of Fatwa giving, also, lauded the deeply impacts and efforts of the calling committee in serving Islam and Muslim majority people around the world.
Speaking to the attendance, H.R.H. Prince Bandar thanked all senior officers of Al-Imam University to organizing the gathering event this year. “Theme of this year’s gathering focus on an issue that kicked-off and cared for personally by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Said. Assembly of this year African calling committee contains ulemas and sharia students from more than 40 country and they will discuss carefully along with Saudi dignitaries and ulemas plans and coordination steps of Dawa”, said he
