His Excellency the Vice-Rector for Planning, Development and Quality Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Shadi accompanied by Dr. Ayed Al-Shahrani, Assistant Vice-President for Planning, Development and Quality for Quality and Academic Accreditation visited a number of educational units at the university, included The College of Languages and Translation , the College of Education, the College of Engineering, the College of Arabic Language and the Higher Institute for Call and Accountability. The visits included meeting with the deans of the colleges and their quality agents, with the aim of identifying the programs and work related to evaluation and quality, as well as the preparations of the educational units and their readiness to meet the requirements of academic, institutional and program accreditation, in addition to the college’s efforts in applying and disseminating the culture of quality, its practices, achievements and obstacles.

The team also conducted a tour to accompany the units to see the tools and methods used in the university educational environment and their suitability for the approved institutional requirements, especially with regard to the mechanism of working programs and achieving progress in the field of programmatic work in the educational unit. The officials of the educational units provide an explanation of the efforts, preparations and mechanism of work in the field of quality applications in the college.

The Vice-Rector for Planning, Development and Quality, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Shadi stated that such visits come based on the directives of His Excellency the President of the University and the Agency’s eagerness to communicate with the various units of the university and stand closely on what has been done and steps in the field of quality, academic accreditation, the difficulties that units face , challenges in this field, and discuss means of coordination, cooperation and integration in all matters related to achieving quality at the highest levels

His Excellency added that all of this will be reflected positively, God willing, on the endeavor to achieve global leadership in the global classification, indicating that educational units of various names must have continuous cooperation, positive interaction and lasting communication, at the end of his statement, he thanked God for the goodness, security and prosperity of the Kingdom, then he thanked the leadership of this blessed country for the continuous support and interest of the university that made it one of the most prestigious universities.
