 Imam University Arranges Societal Partnership Forum

Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in tandem with the National Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) will organize, on the next May, the fourth edition of Societal Partnership Forum under title “Scientific Integrity”, with a participation of a pool of researchers and interested persons, says Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Asker, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam University for Higher Studies and Academic Research.

Shedding more lights on the event, Dr. Al-Asker clarified that, the current version of the forum aims to contribute in strengthen the essentials and values of academic impartiality, and demonstrate the different aspects of corruption in academic research and how to ironing them, as well as discussing the latest challenges facing enforcing the mechanisms of academic impartiality and its controls. Moreover, to observe the most litigations and programs devoted to realize academic impartiality and prospect the communal roles that contributes in promoting the academic impartiality and combating research corruption.

All interested persons with the issue of academic impartiality, from inside and outside Saudi Arabian Kingdom or from governmental and non-governmental agencies, are calling to participate in the forum, pointed out Dr. Al-Asker.

In similar vein, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Moqbel, Vice-President of Organizing Committee, has stated that, the participation in the forum might be through research papers and posters, that’s why all participations has passed to academic referee committee. “The forum will contain numerous workshops and sessions dealing with the themes of the forum, which focusing on types of corruption in academic research, contributions of regulations and rules in strengthening academic impartiality, impartiality in academic researches and studies as well as impartiality in respect of researches and studies devoting to governmental and communal objectives”, added he.
