 Al-Imam Organizes Distance Education Conference Next November

​H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, announced recently in statements the university orientation to organize and hold a unique academic gathering “Distance Education Conference in Saudi Arabian Kingdom” on the next November in tandem with the university eLearning and Distance Education Deanship.
Shedding lights upon the conference objectives, H.E. the university rector sais that, it aims to present recent scientific research in the field of e-Learning and its impact on performance; and to highlight the obstacles and challenges that confronting the elearning in Saudi universities and how to address them; identify the quality and academic accreditation standards of the distance education programs; and to  showcase successful e-learning experiences designed to improve academic and technical performance of distance education.
From his part, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Amer, Dean of Al-Imam University eLearning and Distance Education Deanship, clarified the themes of the conference to be as follows: Distance Education and Needs of Saudi Community; Reality of Distance Education in Saudi Arabian Kingdom; Obstacles and Problems facing Distance Education in Saudi Universities and how to address them; Quality and Academic Accreditation of Distance Education Programs; Arabic and International Experiences of Distance Education Programs; Advancing programs and regulations of distance education in Saudi Arabian Kingdom.
