According to King’s approval for King Abdullah Centre for Islamic Contemporary Studies and Civilization Dialogue, an affiliated centre with Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, to organise an academic forum at Tokyo, Japan, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has chaired the first meeting of the high-level committee of the forum.
The intending forum, which entitled “Building Human Relations in Dialogue: Al-Madinah Charter as a Model, will be hold in tandem with Arabic-Islamic Institute at Tokyo, which’s also an affiliated institute with Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, during the next 12-13 November 2016.
In coincidence with the meeting, H.E. the university Rector has clarified that, it comes in line with the efforts and contributions of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in interfaith and civilization dialogue, and realizing the ambitions of our wised rulers in spreading dialogue’s culture locally, regionally and internationally. It also comes in lines with the continuous efforts of Imam University in strengthening the dialogue principles and concepts among interfaith followers.
From his side, Dr. Abdul-Mohsen Al-Sumaih, Dean of King Abdullah Centre for Islamic Contemporary Studies and Civilization Dialogue, has pointed out that, the forum will discuss, deeply, a number of eight issues and topics with the participation of a pool of elite faculty staff members from the university and from Japan.
