 King Approves Rector Patronage of Oversea Training Program

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has gave his approval for the patronage of H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, to the training program, being titled “Basics and Concepts and Applications of Communication for Human Coexistence, and Discarding Hatred” at Paris, the French Republic.

The training program, which will be patronizing by H.E. the university Rector, is organizing by Research Chair of Civilizations Dialogue that is a part of the core partnership between Imam University and Pantheon-Sorbonne University, during the next 17-19 October 2016. 
Acknowledging the King’s approval, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has expressed about his happiness on behalf of all members of the university for the king’s approval.  The training program is a reflection of the eagerness of the university to let its international programs include what’s promote peace, human coexistence and rejection of manifestations of extremism and fanaticism in a real response to the trends driving by King Salman to promote standing and ranking of Saudi Arabian Kingdom internationally, added he.
From his side, Prof. Dr. Fahd Al-Asker, Vice-Rector for Higher Studies and Academic Research and, who doubles as Vice-President of Research Chairs Program, has clarified that, the training program is an output of the symposium arranged at Riyadh during the last January 2015 and entitled “Role of Universities and Cultural and Research Centres in Dialogue of Civilizations”. Amongst the recommendations of the said symposium, the need for strengthening the potentials of the academic and intellectual elite in human coexistence and discarding terrorism and extremism, added he.
