On Monday, July 7, 2025, the Forum for Graduates from Saudi Universities in the Balkan countries officially kicked off in Tirana. The event is organized by Saudi universities—represented by Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, the Islamic University of Madinah, and Umm Al-Qura University—in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
The opening ceremony was attended by several distinguished figures, including the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Albania, Mr. Faisal Ghazi Hifzi. Also in attendance were Professor Ahmed S. Alaameri , President of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University; Dr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Aqla, President of the Islamic University of Madinah; and Professor Moaddi bin Mohammad Aal Madhhab, President of Umm Al-Qura University. The event welcomed a number of senior university officials and graduates from across the Balkan region.
