 During Its Participation in the Data and Artificial Intelligence Exhibition IMSIU Signs a Memorandum of Understandaing with WeCloudData Acdemy

       Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with WeCloudData Academy, coinciding with the University's participation in the exhibition accompanying the International Conference on Capacity Building in Data and Artificial Intelligence, organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, held on January 28–29, 2026.

 

      The MoU comes as part of the University's efforts to strengthen partnerships with specialized entities in the fields of data science and artificial intelligence, and to develop applied academic programs aligned with labor market needs and digital transformation requirements.

 

      The memorandum was signed on behalf of the University by Noha M. Al-Shaqiran, Chief Executive Officer of the Applied College, while Shaokhua Z. Zhang, Chief Executive Officer of WeCloudData Academy, signed on behalf of the Academy.

 

       The MoU stipulates expanding areas of cooperation between the two parties in training, exchange of expertise, development of academic and applied content, and implementation of specialized initiatives that contribute to qualifying national competencies and enhancing their professional readiness in data science and artificial intelligence.

 

       This partnership reflects the University's commitment to developing high-quality academic programs, building qualified national talents, and strengthening cooperation with specialized educational and technological institutions.
