On the afternoon of the last Sunday, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has inaugurated the event of “Al-Imam University Summer Festival”, which dedicated to women and children and organized by the university General Administration for Investment, during the period of 17-26/08/2014 G at Prince Salman Centre for Exhibitions and Observances at the university campus.
In his words in the event, H.E. the university rector has praised the efforts and support of the Saudi Government heading by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and H.R.H. Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Deputy Crown H.R.H. Prince Muqren bin Abdulaziz, to the local community. He stated that, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, through its participation in the event, has seeking to serve the community and cementing the bonds of love and friendship. “Al-Imam University is quite qualify along with its administrations and departments to serve community and the beloved country”, added he.
From his side, Eng. Muhammad Al-Gerian, Director of General Administration of Investment, has pointed out that, the event will be lasting for ten days from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM daily. A number of entertainment and cultural events for both women and children is well prepared. He revealed that, the university would organize on the coming months an exhibition of “Modern Technological Tools”, in an attempt to effectively serve the community through providing competitive tools for all visitors.
From his part, MR. Ahmad Aba Al-Khail, Manager of Self-Operating Department, stated that the event’s agenda is enriched with entrainment and cultural and beverage activities. “Daily competitions with prizes in tandem with UFM Radio will take place there”, added he.
Its worth to mention that, a number of Al-Imam University officials and dignitaries were attended the inaugurating ceremony.
