Born in 1354 AH (1935 CE) Academic Qualifications: • Studied at the Buraydah Scientific Institute. • Graduated from the College of Sharia at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in 1381 AH. • Obtained a Master’s degree and subsequently a PhD in *Fiqh* (Islamic Jurisprudence) from the same university. Professional and Academic Career: 1. Teacher at the Buraydah Scientific Institute following graduation. 2. Faculty member at the College of Sharia, Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. 3. Member of the Council of Senior Scholars since its inception. 4. Director of the Higher Judicial Institute at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. 5. Faculty member at the Higher Judicial Institute, Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. 6. Member of the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta for many years. 7. Member of the Islamic Fiqh Academy of the Muslim World League. 8. Former member of the Council of the Islamic University of Madinah. 9. Participated in numerous conferences and scholarly/jurisprudential seminars both within and outside the Kingdom.
