Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University has continued its efforts to enhance human capital by implementing a range of initiatives through the Department of Scholarship and Training, under the General Directorate of Human Resources. These initiatives are aimed at strengthening the academic and administrative competencies of faculty members, teaching assistants, and staff.

In 2024, the department processed over 337 scholarship-related requests and nominated 19 faculty members for external scholarships in strategic fields such as artificial intelligence, sciences, education, engineering, and media. As a result, a total of 458 scholars—232 external and 226 internal—are now supported by the university.
. In addition, more than 2,736 staff members benefited from over 30 training programs covering diverse areas, including information technology, project management, finance, and language skills. The university also hosted the fourth Annual Forum for Scholarships and Training, which celebrated 82 graduates from graduate programs both inside and outside the Kingdom, with the active participation of more than 90 student volunteers.
