H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has received at his office here recently Brigadier General. Mohammad Al-Bassami, Director of Saudi Traffic Administration, and Brigadier General. Abdul-Rahman Al-Kharsan, Head of Riyadh Traffic Administration, and the accompanied delegations.
Welcoming them at the university, H.E. the University Rector has briefed them carefully about the university and its prominent plans. Dr. Aba al-Khail has clarified that, the visit of Traffic officials is coming under the directive of H.R.H. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, Saudi Minister of Interior, and all Traffic officials to integrate fully and cooperate in fulfilling the decree of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to allow Saudi women to drive cars.
From his side, Brigadier General. Al-Bassami has thanked Dr. Aba Al-Khail for the cordial welcome, and has additionally conveyed the greetings of H.R.H. Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif to H.E. the University Rector. He noted that, his administration aspires to take advantages of the cooperation with Al-Imam University and its experiences and researches and studies that benefits the interests of the homeland firstly and Traffic administration secondly. He, likewise, said that, the visit would help drafting an integrated plan serving all members of the university that affecting by the traffic jams around the campus.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Aba Al-Khail have had a close meeting with the visiting traffic officials to strengthen the cooperation ties between the university and the Traffic administration.
It is noteworthy that, Dr. Mohammad Said Al-Alam, Vice-Rector for Knowledge Exchange and International Cooperation, and Eng. Mohammad Al-Gerian, Consultant and Head of Technical Affairs Administration, and a number of the university dignitaries were attended the reception meeting.
