On Sunday, April 13, 2025, Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth to strengthen academic and research cooperation between the two universities   ​​

     The Memorandum of Understanding includes collaboration in several areas, including academic exchange, the launch of joint academic and research programs, the implementation of applied scientific studies, as well as the exchange of faculty and student visits and the organization of academic events such as seminars, lectures, and training courses.
