​     Under the patronage of His Excellency the President of Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud Islamic University, Prof. Ahmed S. Alaameri, the Deanship of Student Affairs, in collaboration with the General Administration of Technical Affairs, launched an initiative to green the student housing area by planting 3,000 trees, in support of the Saudi Green Initiative.

    During the launch, His Excellency the University President inaugurated the initiative by planting the first tree, emphasizing that this step marks the beginning of an ambitious environmental project aimed at planting 100,000 trees across the university. The focus on student housing highlights its importance in raising students’ awareness of environmental sustainability and fostering a stimulating academic and learning environment, in line with the university’s commitment to its environmental and social responsibilities.
