On the last Sunday night, H.R.H. Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman Al-Saud, Chairman of National Calling Committee in Africa, inaugurated in the presence of H.E. Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan, Member of Saudi Committee of Fatwa Giving, and H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, the opening session of the 25th gathering of African calling committee under the motto of “Intellectual Deviation”.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has clarified that; the unity of all Muslims must emerging from the verses of the Glorious Quran and the traditions of Sunnah. He, as well, highly lauded the efforts of King Salman and his Government in rendering success and determination to Islam service and Muslims all around the world.
He furthered that; tribulations that befell recently in the Muslim countries make each and every Muslim hurts and grieves over what its happened tragedies. He, likewise, stated that Allah almighty has blessed us in this country with great affluences; some of them emerged in our standing together with our rulers against the tribulations and its promoters and apologists. H.E. the university Rector additionally noted that, Al-Imam University, during the last three years, has doubled its scholarship students according to the directives of the wised rulers.
In his word before the gathering, H.E. Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan has warned about the intellectual deviation and its consequences. He, in furtherance, has called all Islamic universities and schools to enlighten their students and affiliates about the bad turns of the intellectual deviation.
Speaking to the audience, H.R.H. Prince Bandar thanked all senior officers of Al-Imam University for organizing the gathering events this year. “Africa continent is not missing, since such fruitful gatherings take place, and since Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has directed the first followers to migrate to Abyssinia to fled from the cruel persecution”, added Prince Bandar.
At the end of the opening session, H.R.H. Prince Bandar has handed out souvenirs to the participants.
