 Al-Imam University Signs MoU with Oracle

​H.E. Sheikh Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has inked recently a Memorandum of Understanding agreement with Oracle Corporation, in the presence of Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Saghyer, Vice-Rector for Community Service and Information Technology, and Dr. Waleed Al-Jandal, Dean of Deanship of Information Technology.

Commending the inked MoU, H.E. the university Rector has said that, it is a pioneering step in the field, accessing it has become an essential and a mode, in dealing with the e-Government under the kind support from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and H.R.H. Crown Prince Muhammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, and H.R.H. Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. "Signed MoU will open new horizons of knowledge and technology to the university, and assisting its exerting efforts to sharpen the skills and knowledge of students", added he.

From his side, Dr. Al-Saghyer has pointed out that, the university often seeks to cooperate with the global technological partners to prepare its students for competing professionally and effectively at the labour marketplace. In a similar vein, Dr. Al-Jandal has reaffirmed that; the inked MoU will help largely in ranking the university as top amongst the premier global universities.

From other side, Mr. Thamer Al-Hrabi, Representative of Oracle Middle East, clarified that, the signed MoU will assist the university in its best-in-class technological areas, and will offer a number of training courses for the employees, staff and students of the university.
