H.E. Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia and head of the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Issuing Fatwas, has warned lastly about the electronic war launching by suspected internet websites against Islam and Muslims, in general, and against female and male juniors, in particular. His Highness words has come during the kicking-off of the forum of “Cyberterrorism: It’s Tactics and Combating Methods”, which was held by Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in tandem with its affiliated Research Centre of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for Contemporary Islamic Studies and Dialogue of Civilization.
Continued his words, Saudi grand Mufti has stated that, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University is a beacon of knowledge and sharia-based sciences and it offering its services to all muslims all around the world, through the organized conferences and symposiums. “Each and every power and strength owned by Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University are really a strength for the Islamic nation”, added he.
Addressing the audience, H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has pointed out that, the only way to prevent terrorism and evils of electronic means is to worship Allah Almighty as per explained by the Glorious Quran and traditions of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He called to focus on the recommendations of the forum, and to protect our sons and daughters from the evils surrounding them everywhere. Dr. Aba Al-Khail has clinched his words by lauding King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Crown H.R.H. Prince Muqren bin Abdulaziz, for all their contributions and supports.
From his side, Dr. Abdul-Mohsen Al-Sumaih, Dean of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Centre for Contemporary Islamic Studies and Dialogue of Civilization, has stated that, the forum is planned by department of combating terrorism of the centre, and is come in line with the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in particular, and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in general, to combat terrorism. He additionally clarified that, the forum is aims to help identifying suspected terrorism websites, exchange information and data with specialized persons in this field, reconsider the ways of combating and protecting against terrorism, and keep pace with the latest updates to strengthen the role of family and education and masjid within the community.
At the end inauguration ceremony, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Centre has presented souvenirs to H.E. the university rector and Saudi grand Mufti.
