 Rector Receives Head of Chadian Islamic Supreme Council

On the last Tuesday, H.E. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Al-Ameri, Rector of Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, received at his office here Dr. Mahamat Khatir Issa, President of the High Council for Islamic Affairs in Chad, and the accompanying delegation, currently visiting the Kingdom.

Welcoming the guests, H.E. the University Rector has kept them abreast about the university and its roles in disseminating Islamic and Arabic sciences, as well as community service, throughout its wide-range Sharia, Arabic, Social and Applied colleges inside Saudi Arabia and abroad. Dr. Al-Ameri, additionally, has noted to them, the preparedness of the university to expand its academic and research cooperation, including the current 112 scholarship students, with counterparts Chadian authorities. 

For his part, Dr. Issa said that he is looking forward to strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation with Imam University including the academic, cultural and academic research areas. He commended the pioneering role that ​Imam University is playing to serve Islamic and Arabic sciences.

It is worthy to note that, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Yusuf, Vice-Rector for Knowledge Exchange and International Communications, and a number of the university dignitaries, were attended the reception meeting. 

At the end of the visit, Dr. Mahamat Khatir Issa and the accompanying delegation had paid a visit to the Museum of History of Science and Technology in Islam at the university campus.
