 Strengthening Travel Services and Supporting International Students, IMSIU Signs Cooperation Agreement with Tasheer Company.

     On Monday, January 5, 2026, Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Company for Visa and Travel Solutions (Tasheer). The agreement aims to strengthen joint cooperation and provide high-quality, integrated services to the University's affiliates and students, both inside and outside the Kingdom. It also supports the strategic objectives of both parties and aligns their joint initiatives with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

 


     The agreement was signed on behalf of the University by Dr. Abdullah A. Al-Asmari, Vice President for Educational Affairs, while Tasheer was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Fahd S. Aba Al-Khail.

 


     The agreement focuses on facilitating visa issuance for international students and streamlining their travel and ticketing procedures. It also includes facilitating visa processes for Saudi students sent abroad, cooperation in developing international cultural programs, and organizing international seminars, exhibitions, and field training programs inside and outside the Kingdom.

 


     In addition, the agreement encompasses cooperation in research and development, the exchange of academic and practical expertise, and support for employing IMSIU graduates at Tasheer in line with the company's needs. It further includes collaboration on initiatives and programs that contribute to achieving sustainable development goals and advancing the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, with the aim of creating meaningful institutional impact and serving the shared interests of both parties.​
