The College of Information and Communication at Imam University has recently opened the Female Section - a new study section (radio, television and film), to join the other four departments of the college: press and electronic publishing, public relations, advertising and marketing communication, graphics and multimedia, which graduates Of them, last year, 500 female students were the first female college batch.
The number of female students in the Radio, TV and Film Department is currently 56 students, this development is in line with the growing importance of the media, and its great and effective impact on society, as well as the rapid growth in the communication and media sector scientifically, technically, and technically, in addition to the increasing demand for it.
The coordinator of the Radio, TV and Film Department at the college, Dr. Walaa Taher, affirmed that the students ’attendance to this department is noticeable, noting that they have the desire to study this specialization.
Dr. Walaa considered that the media is one of the important pillars of society to develop it and advance its heritage, present and future, and the field of audio and visual media considered the most important tributary media necessary for the advancement of society.
