Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University concluded today, Thursday, July 16, 2026, the second week of the 2026 Mawhiba Academic Enrichment Program by delivering a comprehensive range of academic and enrichment activities, scientific and hands-on experiments, accompanying programs, and educational visits. The initiative reflects the University's commitment to nurturing talented female students and strengthening their academic and research capabilities.
During its second week, the program continued offering specialized academic tracks in Physics: Theory and Practice, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Medical and Life Sciences, and Renewable Energy. Participants engaged in specialized lectures and practical laboratory sessions featuring applications in medical, biological, and engineering fields. These activities deepened their scientific knowledge, enhanced research and critical thinking skills, promoted experiential learning, and connected academic concepts with real-world applications.
The second week also featured a variety of accompanying activities designed to provide a well-rounded enrichment experience. These included sports activities, intensive English language programs, and psychological well-being activities, contributing to the development of participants' academic, personal, and practical skills.
As part of the educational visits, participants toured the University's Planetarium and the Museum of the History of Arabic and Islamic Sciences. They explored exhibits highlighting the legacy of Muslim scientists and viewed scientific presentations and advanced technologies used to simulate astronomical phenomena inside the Planetarium. The visits broadened their scientific horizons, fostered a spirit of exploration and inquiry, and reinforced theoretical concepts through practical application.
