Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has kicked-off on the evening of the last Monday at his office here the new electronic system for managing the peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Shedding lights on the system, H.E. the University Rector has clarified that, the launched system is fully compatible with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020 in connection to its innovative features that makes it the first-ever in the local and regional levels.

He additionally added that, Al-Imam University is approaching an important era that requires everything integrating into these journals are at with high quality level according to a clear patriotism approach to this precious country. He continued that, these journals must have been enriching by the principles of moderation, tolerance and coexistence, and must have been warning about excessive, negligence, extremism and terrorism, through the contributions of the faculty staff members.

Dr. Aba Al-Khail has finally valued the vice-rectorate of Higher Studies and Deanship of Academic Research for their finest efforts and contributions in adopting such a unique system, which will unquestionably bring success and advantage to other peer educational institutions.

In a similar vein, Dr. Mahmoud Suliman Al-Mahmoud, Vice-Rector for Higher Studies and Academic Research, and who doubles as a Supervisor about Al-Imam University Journals, has stated that, the current rapid technological development boom requires all of us to develop and update our deliverables in accordance with the datum of this era, and to review our goals and strategy and our system of work so that we can compete and cope with the rapid changes. That' why we made a tireless efforts to reach to the excellence and leadership as per the directives of H.E. the University Rector.

From other side, Dr. Al-Mahmoud has pointed out that, the activated system provides everything a researcher from all research areas’ needs, and urging them to conduct innovative academic researches, and provides the means and motivation to them to finalize their researches in an appropriate scientific atmosphere. He indicated additionally that, the program is an electronic platform to manage and organize the arbitration process of scientific researches and publish them in prestigious scientific journals and work up through members of arbitration.

Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Moqbel, Dean of Deanship of Academic Research, has provided, in turn, a detailed description to the launched system and its features and workflow. He, additionally, thanked H.E. the university Rector for his support and efforts to bring success to his administration works.
