Dr. Muhammad Said Al-Alam, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Knowledge Exchange and International Communication, and Chairperson of Islamic University of Technology (IUT) Trusteeship Council, has participated lastly at the appointment ceremony of Prof. Dr. Munaz Ahmed Noor, Vice-Chancellor of Islamic University of Technology (IUT).
In the ceremony significance, Dr. Al-Alam has offered his thanks to Dr. Imtiaz Hossain, Former Vice-Chancellor of IUT, for his contributions and efforts to bring success to the university’s deliverables. He, in furtherance, has discussed deeply with the audience a number of critical topics including accreditation and quality and developing of faculty staff members.
In a similar vein, Dr. Al-Alam has reaffirmed the keenness of the Government of Saudi Arabia to disseminate knowledge and sciences locally and internationally. He extended his thanks to Mr. Abdullah Al-Mutairi, Saudi Ambassador to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and all his cabinet for their staunch support and efforts. At the last of his visit, Dr. Al-Alam has toured inside the university premises and academic halls.
It is worth to mention that, Islamic University of Technology (IUT) in Dhaka is a subsidiary organ of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
