On the lastly Sunday morning, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University had celebrated the advent of the Eid-ul-Fitr (the Lesser Bairam) in a ceremony held at the reception hall of the university administration Bldg. The ceremony has attended by H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam University, beside all the university’s vice-rectors, deans, and top officials.
In statements before the audience, Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam University, had congratulated King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince H.R.H. Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, and by Deputy Crown H.R.H. Prince Muqren bin Abdulaziz, for the advent of the occasion. He, likewise, supplicated Allah Almighty to accept from all and to maintain the homeland’s peace and stability.
He called all the senior officials of Al-Imam University to necessarily sensing the responsibility placed on the university, and to complete what they are entrusting for honestly, sincerely and faithfully, taking into account Al-Imam University’s mission and vision, which designed from Glorious Quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
H.E. the university rector has, continuing his words, lauded the last speech of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to the Arab and Muslim nations. He said that, it – the speech – carries great and powerful meanings showing the efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia in fighting terrorism, sedition and intellectual and behavioural deviations. “It’s an excuse and warning for the international community, in general, and for the Arab and Muslims communities, which faced evils, differences, destruction of crops and progeny, in particular”, added he.
Concluding his words, H.E. the university rector has emphasized on the need for action to achieve what the King’s speech contained of good things for the Arab and Muslim nations and for the international community as whole. “It’s the duty of sharia students, researchers and specialists to confront what has been warned for by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)”, clarified he.
