On the morning of Wednesday 6, 2016, Muslims in Tokyo area gathered for the Eid-ul-Fitr, i.e. Lesser Bairam, congregational prayer, in the presence of nearly about 500 Muslims including ambassadors and diplomats of the Arab and Islamic countries, in a kind patronage of Mr. Ahmad Al-Braak, Saudi Ambassador to Japan.
In coincidence with the sermon and the prayer, which has arranged and observed by Al-Imam University Arabic-Islamic Institute at Tokyo, all Muslims from various countries were denounced strongly the terrorist attacks hit Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the last month of Ramadan.
From his side, Dr. Nasser Al-Omaim, Director of Arabic-Islamic Institute at Tokyo has congratulated all Muslims on the advent of Eid-ul-Fitr. Following that, a light meal was offered for all Muslims attending the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, one of two major religious feast in the Islamic calendar.
