H.E. Sheikh Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has received at his office here lastly Dr. Qamar-ul-Din Amin, Head of General Directorate of Islamic Education, one of the units of Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, and the accompanied delegation members.
In significance with the visit, H.E. the university Rector has inked a Memorandum of Understanding “MoU” with General Directorate of Islamic Education, Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, on cementing the cooperation ties between both parties, especially on the academic, research and training areas.
Commending the MoU inking, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has stated that, it comes with the sidelines with the aspirations of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and H.R.H. Crown Prince Muhammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, and H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Crown Prince. He, additionally, praised the efforts of the General Directorate of Islamic Education, Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, in the educational and awareness areas.
From his side, Dr. Qamar-ul-Din of Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs has pointed out that, Al-Imam University is considered one of the prominent Islamic universities in the Islamic world. It deems as the mother-university in the area of Islamic Sharia, which basing on moderation, tolerance, and Arabic Language sciences.
At the end of the reception ceremony, the Indonesian delegation members were received souvenirs from H.E. the university Rector.
