​On the recent days, H.E. Sheikh Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, has received at his office here Mr. Abdul Ilah Al-Sharif, Secretary-General of National Commission for Narcotics Control “NCNC”, in the presence of the university’s vice-rectors. 

Welcoming the guest, H.E. the university Rector has stated that, drugs and terrorism are two sides of the same coin, and Saudi Arabia often targets and not just the amount of drugs seized, which target the minds of our young people. This's, otherwise, a sign of awareness of the leaders, of this country, about the danger of drugs and their quest to protect the homeland and Saudi people from its pose serious threats to the health and welfare of human beings. Dr. Aba Al-Khail has added that, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and H.R.H. Crown Prince Muhammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, and H.R.H. Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, are sparing no efforts to enlighten, aware and control the narcotic drugs.

H.E. the university Rector has furthered that, the greatest efforts to be exerting and mocking the possibilities are only our female and male students and out youths. That's why Al-Imam University is to put all of its material, moral and human competencies and research centres, institutes, colleges and research chairs inside and outside the Kingdom for the coordination and solidarity with the General Directorate for Drug Control and the National Commission for Narcotics Control.

Concluding his words, Dr. Aba Al-Khail has warned all enemies, whom constantly inciting the sedition in our home and drew their sinister and serious efforts and evil-plans to harm this blessed country, because they know that this country is the truly protection of the true faith.

From his side, Mr. Abdul Ilah Al-Sharif has acknowledged the efforts and contributions been exerting by Al-Imam University to enlighten the community and its members about the dangerous of the narcotic drugs. He clarified that, the huge numbers of Captagon tablets, which captured by the competent authorities, among the other types of narcotic drugs, are dangerous in its nature and are targeting our junior students.

It should be noted that, the meeting was deliberated the efforts of Saudi Centre for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Studies, and the action-plan of the centre of 1437-1438 H, which presented by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zain, Dean of the Centre. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Al-Sharif has presented a number of copies of the editions to H.E. the university Rector, in addition to souvenirs.
