Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has approved lastly the program of his administration to commemorate the Saudi Nation Day, which celebrated in Saudi Arabia on every 23 September follows the day where the Late King Abdulaziz announced the country as a kingdom on 23 September 1932.
Commending the every-year celebrating program of the university, Dr. Al-Fawzan has stated that, the motto of this year program would be “Religion and Moderation ... Leadership and Homeland ... Fundamentals distinguish us and Sacrificing by our lives”, with a key target to develop the pride and glory of the Saudi attitude of Glorious Quran and Sunnah and moderation. The program, also, includes launching of project “My Contribution to my Homeland”, to support the youth patriotism initiatives, and various programs and events and big competition for all female and male students of the university.
Shedding more lights on the university’s celebrating program, Dr. Al-Fawzan said that, the Saudi national day has a great value and eternal memory in the sentiment of the Saudi people. It reminds them about the brighter past of their fathers and pushing them enthusiasmly to work and product, it also a sign of the unification of their homeland, added he. “Choosing the main objective of the program stems from our responsibilities toward the juniors, whom are in need to seed the national values at their souls and strengthening it, and from the Saudi approach, which is derived from Sharia approach in all its affairs. Which is reflecting its unique aspects that great attitudes of the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Faisal Al Saud, founder of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – May Allah rest his soul in peace - and his sons and kings and the great attitudes of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud”, noted Dr. Al-Fawzan.
Clinching his words, Al-Imam University Acting-Rector has expressed about his ambitious for the program to achieve all its designated goals and objectives and make safe Saudi Arabia. He also prayed Allah Almighty to bring success and health to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and H.R.H. Crown Prince Muhammad bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, and H.R.H. Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy of Crown Prince and Minister of Defence. Dr. Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, likewise, extended his acknowledgements to H.E. Dr. Azaam Al-Dakhail, Saudi Minister of Education, for all his support and sincere encouragement to all the university’s activities and programs.
