 King Approves Appointment of Dr. Aba Al-Khail at IIUI

Sheikh Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University

​In coincidence with the due care and support being received by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to the academical institutions, King Salman bin Abdulaziz has issued recently his royal approval for the appointment of H.E. Prof. Dr. Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, as a Pro-Chancellor of the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI).

In significance with the royal approval, King Salman’s royal decree has come in association with the decision of H.E. Mr. Mamnoon Hussain, President of Pakistan and Chancellor IIUI, for the appointment of Dr. Aba Al-Khail as of December 2016. 

Commending the royal approval and appreciating it, H.E. the University Rector has acknowledged King Salman bin Abdulaziz for his kind trust and his tireless support to all Islamic and academic institutions worldwide. He, as well, has considered the royal approval as a generous standing that reflects the continuous support and encouragement of the Saudi Government to the IIUI since its founding until now.

It is worth to mention that, the International Islamic University, Islamabad “IIUI” is a public university and tertiary education research institution in Islamabad, Pakistan. It is a centre of Islam, theology, and the Islamic sciences. The university was founded in 1980 by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation “OIC” and restructured in 1985. The university was one of the largest in Pakistan.
