In coincidence with the advent of the 84th Saudi National Day, Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University Deanship of Library Affairs has arranged a celebration at the library of King Abdullah City for Girls - building No. (321), to express its great loyalty and pride of the Kingdom, where the deanship is so keen to celebrate this occasion annually.
The female librarian officers have held a reception for students, where Dr. Musfrah Al-Khathami, Vice-Dean of the Deanship of Library Affairs, has delivered a word on the advent. She said that, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered as a young state, however, what have been achieved, thanks to God, is beyond perceptions and expectations, so it became a competitor to many countries in different fields and public and private sectors, even it exceeds some countries in most fields.
Dr. Al-Khathami has cited that, the celebration of the National Day is not an occasion for sermons and essays, but it is a behavior to be conducted, as nationalism shown clearly through the well-done deed of each individual and his faithfulness. “Our nationalism is clearly shown through what we say and what, present and spread such as sound and right behavior, as well as thought, as the right behavior and thought flow in the country interest, so, this is the right nationalism or the national belonging”, continued she.
It is worth mentioning that the festival has included the distribution of bags and brochures about the country and its achievements. In addition, books and achievements of King Abdulaziz and his efforts in unifying the Kingdom have displayed.
