 IT Deanship Arranges Tech Forum for Female Students

Deanship of Information Technology, Dr. Waleed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jandal

​Deanship of Information Technology of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University will organize on the next Wednesday a technological forum for female students at King Abdullah City for Female Students, says Dr. Waleed bin Abdulaziz Al-Jandal, Acting Dean of Information Technology Deanship, lastly in statements.

On the concept of the forum, Dr. Al-Jandal has stated that, it aims basically to increase the knowledge awareness of female students, especially in the field of technology knowledge and economic knowledge, as well as encourage them for hard work and sedulity. "Developing the positive thinking skills in information technology and provide them with some key tips on how to start private IT projects are among the aims of the forum", added he.

Shedding more lights on the forum, Dr. Al-Jandal has clarified that, the idea of setting up the forum is with consistence with the strategy of Al-Imam University to raise the qualifications and capabilities of female students through the participation of the learned teamwork of his administration in the forum.

From her side, Dr. Sarah Al-Hamoud, Vice-Dean of IT Deanship, has pointed out that, the forum is going side-by-side with the requirements of labour market and with the needs of developing knowledge skills of female students. She added that, registration for the forum will be available via the link (http://multech.imamu.edu.sa) and it will be hold at building no (324) at the main hall, in addition to the supporting lecture hall from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
