On the last days, Dr. Muhammad Said Al-Alam, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University for Knowledge Exchange and International Collaboration, has made a research-educational paper entitled “Role of Educational Institutions in Strengthening Moderation and Developing Islamic Communities: Al-Imam University as a Model” at Islamic University of Maldives.
Dr. Al-Alam’s paper, which has come in line with his participation at the International Conference on Islamic Awakening towards Diverse but Unified Society, has focused on the active role of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in strengthen moderation throughout its activities and events and syllabuses. Moreover, has focused on appointed that, moderation is a concept which implanting academically in the students, and encouraging through daily attitudes and practices.
In a similar vein, Dr. Al-Alam has clarified that, Al-Imam University, alongside with its wide-range colleges and institutes, with the due care and support of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, broke the space frontiers and its contributions are largely help in cementing the relationships between Saudi Arabian Kingdom and counterpart countries.
Continued his words, Dr. Al-Alam has spoken about the intensive experience of Al-Imam University in the areas of academic and scientific collaboration internationally, beside the effective roles of its abroad institutes.
During the opening speech of the conference, which proudly delivered by Dr. Al-Alam, he acknowledged the closed relations between Saudi Arabian Kingdom and Republic of Maldives. He furthered that, King Salman bin Abdulaziz has gave lastly approval to open abroad institute at Maldives under the supervision of Al-Imam University. He concluded by exalting the extraordinary organizing of the conference and the active participation of all attendants and experts.
It should be noted that, the International Conference on Islamic Awakening towards Diverse but Unified Society was patronage and attended by H.E. Dr. Abdullah Jihad, Vice-President of Republic of Maldives.
