 Course of Narcotics Phenomenon & Prevention Ways Clinched

​Dr. Fawzan bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Fawzan, Acting Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, has patronized lastly in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Sheikh, Deputy of Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Dawa, and Guidance, the closing session of “Narcotics Phenomenon and Prevention Ways” course, which has organized by Al-Imam University lastly.

In his words before the audience, Dr. Al-Fawzan has pointed out that, Saudi Arabian Kingdom is often targets on its cherished wealth of faith and youth by organizations that willing to pick-off youth from the righteous path adopting by the country since its founding. “These organizations are trying either to push them into narcotics or extremism, which are both scourges seeking to disrupt the nation and its human and material resources”, added he.

Dr. Al-Fawzan, additionally, clarified that, on of the top priorities programs of the university is to collaborate fully with the National Committee of Combating Narcotics through Saudi Centre of Studies and Researches of Narcotics Control “Hasieen”, which affiliated centre with Al-Imam University.

Speaking to the audience, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheikh has stated that, the current awareness course is one of the deliverables of the National Committee of Combating Narcotics, which his administration is a critical part of it, that is why he called participants to avail the information they taken during the course in their dawa preaches. He revealed that, his administration would seek to organize such courses all over Saudi Arabia regions.

From his side, Mr. Abdul-Ellah Al-Sherif, Secretary-General of National Committee of Combating Narcotics, has enlightened that audience deeply about the commission and its mission and vision.

It is worth to mention that, Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdul-Ghaffar, Vice-Rector for Planning, Development and Quality, and Head of Saudi Centre of Studies and Researches of Narcotics Control “Hasieen”, and Mr. Abdul-Ellah Al-Sherif, Secretary-General of National Committee of Combating Narcotics, and Dr. Nazar Al-Saleh, CEO of National Committee of Combating Narcotics, were all attending the closing session of the course.
