On the morning of the last Sunday, Supreme Jurisdiction Institute has organized a training course entitled “Essentials of Criminal Trails” at its HQ for employees of Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defence, clarifies Dr. Abdullah Al-Teraiki, Dean of Supreme Jurisdiction Institute, in statements.
On the course aims, Dr. Al-Teraiki has pointed out that, the four-day training course, which holds in association with a pool of academia and judges and military persons, aims to provide employees of the Office of Military Trials with a number of knowledge, science, regulations, skills as well as mainstreaming them according to fiqh and law. “Punitive sanctions according to fiqh and law, reasoning and investigation and public prosecution, military trials, and legal pleadings, and guarantees of justice are among the syllabus of the training course”, added he.
It worth to mention that, the training session was started with a word from Dr. Fahd Al-Saghyer, Vice-Dean of Training and Curses Affairs, where he enlightened the trainees about the institute and its regulations as well as the course’s syllabus and methodologies. Following that, Colonel Dr. Muhammad Al-Subiai, Head of Studies and Development, and Member of Military Trails Commission, has started the first session, where he briefed the trainees about the military judiciary. Twenty-Seven military officers from various military departments are attending the training course.
